Jerome Gourraud Present his Last Creation : Hommage

Our Estate is named after the Famous poet Alphonse de Lamartine, native of Macon, Burgundy . We decided to create this Cuvée in
Hommage to him . Therefore, we selected a cooper from
Burgundy and placed our Wine to age during 12 months in these new oak barrels .
These Barrels, usually made for the very fine Pinot noir, grape variety from Burgundy, seemed to be completely adapted to respect the very fruity and delicate notes of Merlot noir, the main variety of this Cuvée .
