On each Wines from L’esprit du Poète LAMARTINE RANGE, you will find a short extract from Lamartine Poetrys . This extract symbolyse the style of wine you will drink and the moment, the sensation . Our Estate is named after the Famous poet Alphonse de Lamartine, native of Macon, Burgundy . We decided to create this Cuvée in Hommage to him . Therefore, we selected a cooper from Burgundy and placed our Wine to age during 12 months in these new oak barrels . These Barrels, usually made for the very fine Pinot noir, grape variety from Burgundy, seemed to be completely adapted to respect the very fruity and delicate notes of Merlot noir, the main variety of this Cuvée . We hope that you will enjoy this wine and wish you a great tasting . 
Harvest 2014 ! Finaly we just started since 4 days . For the moment, Vintage 2014 Seems to be promising . Nice color and High degree ( around 14% ) for Merlot Grape Variety .Certainly a great vintage . A really good news after the vintage 2013
